Manomav featured in nerve of steel construction – SSMB.in

Manomav Engineers is again featured in news and this time it is showing its strength which is as tough as Steel Structures. Recently, Steel Structures and Metal Buildings (SSMB.in) which focuses on nerve of steel construction has published it anniversary issue in which they have captured the Best Steel Structures across the globe and covered the work of Manomav.

Akhil Saxena, Director – Operations of Manomav Engineers Private Limited is covered for one of the project completed by Manomav at Gurugram, Haryana. Vega School is a beautiful Circular building with 2 basements, Ground +5 Floors Buildings, a cafeteria and library at the Ground  Floor. The most Challenging Part of the Structure was the Steel beam at 4th Floor Level a roof above the multipurpose hall. Problems are Solved by Good Design, the  beam to Support Facade at 4th Floor was made Possible because of the Technology of Steel Structure Design.

This is one of the featured project of Manomav which was completed in challenging timeline by close coordination of procurement, design and contractors. Manomav is building its strong presence in area of Structural Steel buildings since its inception.

Key Result Area In Manomav Engineers

KRA or Key Result Areas comprehensively define the job description of the employee and are used when assigning the task that he or she is expected to perform with a positive impact.

They are a broad range of responsibilities that the employee has to solely concentrate on throughout the year by aligning their role with that of the organization.

KRAs are mainly set to measure the performance of the employees in a well-defined, quantifiable and easy to measure form and can also be used as an appraisal tool as this data is based on their overall performance.

This allows employees to stick to their path and helps them stay focused. As it provides clarity to individuals, it enables them to focus on other things at the personal front too.

To promote the work-life balance of its employees, Manomav introduced this approach on February 1st this year, as the company understands the importance of quality work and providing time away from work for rest for overall productivity.

Redefining Hospital Buildings with latest emerging Technologies

Hospital Buildings has evolved a lot in last 25 years. Timely delivery of Projects has become a key factor though typically hospitals are taking 3-5 years in completion. In these time, various new developments has happened in construction industry including,

  • Building Maintenance System (BMS)
  • Recycling of Water in WTP
  • Flooring Selection from Hygienic Point of View
  • Washroom Flooring with Artistic thoughts
  • Operation Theatre with Conductive Flooring
  • Hardware with copper fittings
  • Glass Technology

Above are few of the latest technologies which has changed the hospital buildings built in past.

Mr. Rajendra Vats, chief Projects, C K Birla Group has highlighted various safety concerns related to patients during 2nd Annual India Hospital Design and Build Summit 2019 at Le Meridien, Gurugram including

  1. Positive/Negative Pressures for managing better air circulation for infection control
  2. Water Usage for Domestic and Drinking Purpose
  3. Fire Safety with usage of Sprinkler, Smoke Extretation, Pressurisation, Hydrant, Mechanical Systems)

He shared that external power supply through shafts should be supplied to these systems and which can further be backed up with UPS on external surfaces which can be useful in case of emergency.

Integration of BIM was discussed in same panel which seems obvious future to the panelists. Manomav was started in 2012 with BIM Services. We have already served various projects ranging from INR 10 Crore wroth to INR 300 Crore worth when it comes to successful implementation of Building Information Technology.

We have interesting observation when it comes to BIM Implementation. Abhinav Bhardwaj, Director – Manomav Engineers believes that any construction is design at GFC level by Architects which is further detailed at Shop Drawings level by Contractors. In current implementation plan, architects & consultants are getting ready to adopt BIM however the ecosystem is incomplete without implementing it with contractors at Shop Drawing level where Manomav can play a vital role. Manomav has incorporating BIM in its Project Management Services for building better control on Project Monitoring during execution.

This means her solutions doesn’t really include usage of stone and gems. She shared her experience on how she managed to correlate her Vaastu with modern architectural and structural designs with no major changes in design. She also stated relation of Vaastu with our day to day life and how we can protect ourselves with negative energies of a person.

MICRO PMC

It has always been difficult to monitor small scale project accurately. Manomav Engineers have come up with a solution to this with ’Micro PMC’ system to monitor small scale projects budgeted under 15 Crore from the initiation phase of the project to its handing over to the Client.

Micro PMC is developed in such a way that the construction activities can be monitored at the micro level of a project for each floor. It ensures none of the activities or issues related to project remains untracked and unattended. It is built on the idea of Artificial Intelligence where the system tells us to perform a task and plan our action items. This is intelligent follow-up System.

Wondering, why the name “Micro PMC “? Since it is in itself a Project Management System that is consolidated with all the necessary parameters that play an essential role in the project. It includes project schedule, activity trackers, issue log, drawing register, training, etc.

Imagine a scenario where you don’t have to keep a note all the time for everything, all you need to do is to operate ’Micro PMC’, and it will direct you to perform a task.

Under the leadership of Abhinav Bhardwaj, Director Growth, Project Management Office team is indulged in its implementation and has successfully implemented over 4 Projects till now.

Making a smooth way into the era of Artificial Intelligence!
